Thanks for the feedback Michael. I'm not sure that it's completely due to a lack of caring that Dr. Oz isn't being criticized by the medical community. I think it has more to do with the fact that alternative medicine concepts have wriggled their way into mainstream medicine, and many medical professionals think that it's a perfectly valid modality.
For example, nurses can get continuing education credits for studying energy medicine and homeopathy. These are people who should be well educated in how science works and standards of evidence, but they're not.
Regarding your concern over the blog's name, I appreciate your suggestion. However, I have what I consider to be a good reason for the name that I chose. For me it's a reminder that I shouldn't take myself too seriously, and I hope that others see it as an admission that I'm just a fallible human being like everybody else.
I'm just as subject to error and misunderstanding as anybody reading this blog, Even though I'm kind of speaking from the pulpit here, I don't want anybody to take anything I say as given. If I'm wrong, people should feel free to call me on it.
As Richard Feynman once said, I'm smart enough to know that I'm dumb.

Good points
It amazes me that the world has allowed "Dr. Oz" to be so sloppy in what he says. Certainly the lack of criticism of him is an example of the extreme absence of caring in the U.S. medical profession.
Another topic: You need a more self-respecting title for your work. Your work is valuable, but it won't have as much influence if there are negative connotations in your name.
